The end of the journey can be an overwhelming time. There are caregivers for the physical body, but emotional health is often overlooked.
GIVE THE GIFT OF COMPASSION TO YOURSELF, OR A LOVED ONE
I support the client and/or loved ones through the entire end of life journey, and advocate for the client's wishes.
What does an End of Life Doula do?
In the simplest form, a doula provides emotional care for both the client and client's loved ones... Examples include:
Social companionship for the client.
Suggesting interventions for comfort and safety at all stages.
Knowledge base of the end of life stages, and what can be expected.
Helping to facilitate unresolved issues.
Generating a Death Plan.
Creating remembrances via legacy projects.
Being present at end of life vigil time.
Grief support for loved ones.
My Passion:
Designing a client-centered and comprehensive End of Life Plan that ensures a peaceful end to life's journey.
